Change email addy in profile

It doesn't want to work... I do it, and it proceeds logging me out stating "an email with confirmation PW will be sent..." but
A: my old pw still works
B: the email doesn't arrive

I have no idea what the problem might be... any ideas?
 
I'd venture a guess that it is probably because the email address in your profile is invalid. The system can't send you a confirmation email to an email address that doesn't work...
 
It's valid... and it has to be entered twice to verify that i spelled it correctly... I'm idleing on thunderbird refreshing every 30 min and still hasn't been a response. Maybe it's a browser issue? Firefox doesn't work well here?
