I am trying to to install software on another partition (change from C: to E🙂. I changed the values in the Registry Keys ProgramFilesDir and ProgramFilesDir (x86). This seems to work when installing 64-bit software, however, this does not work for 32-bit software.
For example, I was installing Adobe CS6 which contains both 64-bit and 32-bit software. The installation wizard selected the proper partition to install the 64-bit portion of the software E:/Program Files/Adobe but installed the 32-bit portion of the software in C:/Program Files (x86)/Adobe.
Am I missing something from the tutorial? I am trying to keep my software separate from my main partition.
Also should I be modifying my CommonFilesDir, CommonFilesDir (x86), CommonW6432Dir, ProgramsW6432Dir values to reflect K: instead of C:?
