Hi, my 760xl died a few months ago. The system LCD's used to blink for a second, and then turn off. I am guessing that there is a problem with the CMOS battery, based upon what I have read on the Thinkpad users forum (see copy of message below).
Can anyone tell me where to buy a cheap and quality 760xl CMOS battery?

I'd bet money on a dead CMOS battery John.
