It appears that you can slipstream SP2 into the install CD, then try the hack. I dunno, I haven't tried and don't care to. I already have a legal copy of XP Pro
 
What good it is, if you can't use it on already installed computers? Hmmm, maybe you could "repair" the existing XP Home with the newly created XP Pro
 
If it doesn't do EVERYTHING that pro does (i.e. install SP2 fine) then it is NOT pro, it's home with a name hack.
