Running Windows 7 RC64, intel i7, gtx 260, 6gb ram

.. And Champions Online runs choppy as all hell.

Anyone else experiencing any issues like this? Tried to do some research and i think so far anyone running Windows 7 has lag/performance issues with CO.

I just know something is definitely wrong since medium end systems are topping this game out and running fine in Open Beta and i cannot run this on full settings at all.

Just looking for some info on this if anyone has heard something. Mostly since Champions Online, while having a very fun MMO, is lacking any form of Technical Help Category in their forums.

It runs okay for me.. Vista, C2D E6750, 8800GT, 4GB ram. Not sure the FPS, but I left the video settings at the recommended setting. I'd turned on AA, but it made the game look too.. glossy (not sure if that's the right word), so I turned it off. Also turned off the comic outline, but I preferred the look with it on, so I turned that back on.

I did suffer from lag at the project greenskin base in the desert and at the main hub in canada, but that was due to other people in my house using bittorrent and after they stopped it went back to normal.

In Millennium City it was decent. A little bit of lag at times, but nothing major. For reference, I played one character to 20 before the xp nerf and another to 11 (almost 12) after the xp nerf.

Edit: I run it at 1920x1200, full screen.

Didn't really need a separate thread for this did we?

Anyhow, runs fine for me. Phenom II 940, 4GB ram, ATI 4890 running 1680x1050 windowed-mode with all the extra settings turned on (though none of the sliders are set past 100%).

Yes. It did. Considering the original thread has been completely derailed by idiots crying about open beta vs 'fake' open beta.

Anyways.. there's definitely some issues going on with performance. Only seems to be hitting certain people though, and really badly.

There would probably be a solution to this or it would get more notice but Champions Online has no damn forum for any sort of technical help so it all gets flooded into General Discussion and goes unnoticed.

Cant tell if its server lag, networking problems, or hardware issues. Also cant find a single option in Champions Online to let me see my Ping.

I'm wondering if CO needs ports opened manually on certain routers, etc.

I can't comment on Beta (Real or otherwise) however the Head Start version is a bit of a bear on my system. I suspect there's still some optimizing to be done however game's great so far.

My system is fairly close to yours except I'm using Win 7 x64 and I only have 4GB of RAM and the game works pretty well for the most part. Nearly all settings are maxed out except I'm only using 2x AA since any higher slows the framerate down a lot.

I didn't think I'd like this game as much considering I've canceled my preorder twice but I scored an early access key and have been playing it all weekend.
