champagne: whats the epitome of good??

I hear that now cristal is considered the premium champagne. I always thought it was Dom Perignon. Is it just rappers that are increasing the value of Cristal?

both come from the Champagne region of france.


Anybody tasted either/both?

just wondering for the next time I need to splurge for expensive alchohol.

i'd be suspect of cristal just because rappers drink it. remember, these are the guys that think crown is good whiskey.

what kind of drink is macallan 25?

well, I think Cristal is probably pretty good since it was supposedly invented for CZar Alexander. I just don't know how it is compared to Dom.

also, on a different topic, how good is grey goose for vodka? I've never tried it. I've had stoli and that was pretty good. I didn't like absolut.

I'd take Krug over either of them. The NV is excellent - the vintage I can only imagine....

the macallan is scotch. drink it on the rocks with some ice made from reverse osmosis purified water and you're having something special.

Yeah, but you can't rhyme Krug with very many things!
