challenge: where to find a 12-passenger van?

i need to carry 7 people plus a ton of luggage and snowboarding gear for a trip up to mammoth this weekend...

so i've searched all of the obvious rental car companies for a big passenger van (anything bigger than a regular minivan or cargo van with enough seats would do!) but i can't find anything. i'd even settle to rent an excursion! but anyway, they're all sold out or don't seem to be available at the places i'm trying to rent from.

hoping there was someone out there that knew of any secret passenger van rental places. you'd be my hero!

(p.s. 😕i've checked, alamo, avis, budget, hertz, national, dollar, enterprise, you name it!)
 
should be able to rent a Suburban.

they are a better vehicle and larger vehicle inside than the excursion, it will seat people more comfortably.
 
mike, i'll try looking again, but i don't remember seeing any places with suburbans.

jehovah, we're cheap and plus it'd be more fun all in one vehicle. 🙂
 
i'm pretty sure some places have the 3 rows of seats in the back type supervans. just be careful driving em, they have high centers of gravity.;..
 
my bro in law got a 15 passenger van for the wedding back in october and we're up in Albany, NY...if we have crap like that, So. Cal has got to...unless they don't believe in vans and only have Stretch Hummers...😉
