Hi all, I'm interested in buying this motherboard.
Just a quick question:
I know there was a bios update and the adding of some sort of cooling on the chipset of the board. How can I say if the board is rev1 or 2?
What should I check?

There are 3 versions of this board, but only 2 official revs. The initial board was black, with a plain heatsink that had fins. The second VERSION of the rev1 board is blue with a heatsink that says Zenith on it. The rev2 board has active cooling for the chipset (a fan instead of a heatsink).

A new review of this board just came out at ModdersHQ, and it can be found at http://www.moddershq.net/reviews.asp?reviewid=83&pagenumber=1.

It IS a very good board (IMO). Just look at my sig to see what I am running mine at. If you get (or got) a rev1 board, just add a fan to the heatsink yourself for cooling, and you are good-to-go as far as overclocking. If you want to go really far with overclocking, I would get a better CPU cooler too though (I use a Coolermaster Hyper6 on mine, which works EXCELLENT with this board's layout since it exhausts hot air straight out the back of the case). You will also probably want to get the latest BIOS from Chaintech, since the stock BIOS limited overclocking pretty badly.
