Hi All,
I will (hopefully) receive my VNF4 Ultra and 2X WD Raptor HDD's tomorrow, and would like to set them up in a RAID 0 configuration.
I've downloaded the manual, and in the appendix it gives instructions for using a SATA HDD (pressing F6, copy files from floppy, etc). It does not say what to do to set up a RAID config, but one of the files to copy is the "nVidia Raid class driver."
I'm guessing this means that you would use this same procedure to intall the raid drivers, and then configure the RAID array in the BIOS somewhere (or right after the POST sequence). This is how I set up a RAID array on my Soyo Dragon Mobo with the VIA KT266a chipset, so I figure this would be similar.
So, has anyone done this yet? If so, how did you do it? Did you run into any problems?
I'd be interested in hearing how things went.
Thanks,
D'oh!
