anyone use this combination?
the architecture of the board is different and i think the XP-120 might interfere with other components
 
according to Thermalright's own compatibility list, the VNF4 is one of the few where no parts are affected whatsoever

the unusual layout of the board actually results is good cooling and a cavernous area around the CPU, looking down at mine right now there is plenty of room for the 120, assuming it doesn't run into any capacitors
