So i got my EPOX a few days ago and im having the same problem. I have no idea what is causing the problem but i have a work-arround. Im gonna put a momentary N.C. push-button switch in-line on the Floppy-style power cable running to my Radeon and mount it through the front of my case. I think i can live with that until i find a real fix or get a new card. At least it only happens on cold starts. In other news , ive got my system up and running ( with the EPOX ) and it is FAST. Im going with the Epox mainly due to the diff in online support. Anyone considering the chaintech should take a GOOD look at thier website first. considering that this board has been out a while I think youll be spooked by the lack of info, updates drivers/bios .
Im going to ghost my new install and then do some benchmarking to comp vs. my old config. I CANT WAIT!!
p.s. i was thinking about my machine while i was having sex with my G.F. ....again. what a dorky thing to be "fantasizing" about

i had a problem installing a Radeon 8500 in my VNF3-250. after i would install the cats, if i tried to do access any sort of function or open a window that had to access any of the ATi dll's, the video output would cease. i tested about 3 different driver revisions and they would all do the same thing. so, i slapped a GeForce FX5700 in there and all works well. Put the Radeon 8500 back in an old P4 system and it works just fine.

makes me wonder if Chaintech [or the NF3 250 chipset] has a problem with ATi cards...
