I just upgraded my old computer with chaintech vnf3 250 and sempron 2800+. Everything work ok except the cd-rom. The mother board seems to barely see the drive. Bios sees the Toshba drive but can not boot from it. And after I boot (Linux or XP) from the hard disk, OS either does not see the cdrom drive or can not read from it.
The drive is nrealy 5 years old but worked well until upgraded the mobo and cpu.
