I am battling with this new vnf4 board trying to set up SATA raid. using two 160 gig HDD, one Seagate and one Hitachi. On first try a healthy mirror raid was set but failed to complete windows setup. On every attempt since then the boot hangs on searching raid with a postcode of 8b. I have flashed BIOS, swapped SATA ports, but still hangs if raid is enabled in bios (yes I have enabled the ports in use). I've read discussions about troubles seeing Maxtor HDD with this board, but both drives are recognized in boot.
Solution?
