Hello. ..first my english is not good.yesterday i finish the computer; all worked well. ..evrythin working perfect;the only problem that was with the codec for DVD player.. For some reason i put another HD in the new one to see if it worked . ..i don't now how I put a memory of the other pc in the new(diferent kind) so when i press start in the begining do so many beep and smell like smoke.I turn it off quick. i saw what I did and I said holy crap!!!!!!!!!!.I remove the memory...so try to start again with the right memory but does not start the screen always is black not beep,no menu...Just the PS and the fans work...i try to do the jumper bio. ..don't work...

Clear your CMOS first.
Unplug power. Wait 30 seconds
Red jumpers next to pheonix flash BIOS(bottom edge front panel side). put the red jumper in 2-3 pins(count1,2,3 from CPU side to MOBO edge, bottom side of your case) after puting the red jumper in 2-3 positions, wait 30 second, and then put the red jumper back into 1-2(origiona locations).
Plug yout computer and boot. should boot fine . then go to BIOS Screen and set it to optimal(default) and save/exit. reboot again and then do your BIOS setups/ options you want, such as overclocking or any changes.
If your computer does not start after you do above steps(clearing CMOS) then : unplug power. remove battery and wait 15 minutes. and try it again. If no luck, then you might have fried your mobo.
Also go to chaintech website and down load the latest BIOS 08/01/2005 Version 7
