Chaintech NVidia GeForce4 Ti4200-8X 128MB DDR

Is this a good card for $100? I am upgrading my old VooDoo 4 4500 AGP card. What kind of benchmark figures is normal for the Ti 4200 when running that 2001 utility ( the name of it escapes me at the moment). I am running an Athlon 1.83 gig.

Thank you.

A ti4200 should be a nice boost over your current card, and you really can't beat the performance for $100. I don't know how that particular card is, but most likely it should be fine. In 3dmark01 I get about 9k cause I'm cpu bounded (upgrading that soon) but others get 12k or so.

My ti4200 128mb 8x w/ an athlon 2200+ and 768 mb pc2100 scores only 9800! You will probably notice a very big difference

How can you get a score of 12,400 on a Ti4200? Is it overclocked?
