I was considering revamping my current system with a new mobo/proc and giving the old pair to my brother. I'll check out reviews on this board and see if it's worthwhile

(blah blah, TD + Rebates == Devil, heard it the first 1000 times)

Edit: Mobo @ Newegg

Most of the low ratings are just complaining that there's limited overclock potential. One of them says that there's no onboard temp sensors, which does kinda bother me.

I have only had good experiences with TD but you should probably put that and AR in the subject.

I guess a lot of unsold OEM processors are going back through the distribution channel (AXP 2900+). 😀

$99AR for a 2.08GHz barton bundle and decent motherboard is pretty good, especially considering high AthlonXP CPU prices separately.

But i'm passing on the deal. The first $40 rebate looks like a manufacturer's rebate and that will likely be paid, but the second rebate is a TigerDirect rebate and their history of paying is horrible. $140 isn't a good enough deal for the combo.
