This petition was started by me as a sole dissatisfied customer of Chaintech in the hope of resolving this issue of implied service of the 166 Mhz jumper and missing 1/5 divider. Relief for those that sign the petition can be in the form of a straight answer as to when the 1/5 will be implimented or the replacement of the current version S102 motherboards with S103 or current production run boards.

Hey Radioman, I recognize you from the Chaintech OCWorkbench boards

so Im STILL caught in the middle of all this craziness, on whether or not to pick up this board!!!

If I were to buy this board off Newegg, would i get the 103 revision???

And supposing I got that revision board, would that board indeed have the 1/5 divider OPERATIONAL, or is it an across-the-board (heh no pun..) problem? Same question applies to the 166Mhz jumper.


And what would we use the 166 jumper for? Running a 333fsb processor (ie Barton??), or to ENABLE the 1/5 jumper.


Still confused.


its either this board, or the Epox 8K5a2+ (so i can get onboard LAN)...but doesnt come with all the goodies...


or if someone could just tell me to get one board or another, that'd be fine too
