I looking for a motherboard for a budget system.
Newegg has the Chaintech 7NJL4 for $49 and the Shuttle AN35N Ultra for $54. The Abit NF7-S also looks good, but the $85 is a little outside my budget.
Does anybody have a preference between the Chaintech and the Shuttle?
I have owned both Shuttle and Abit boards in the past, but never a Chaintech.
I will be using it with multiple sound cards to play music to different zones of my house.
I'm don't really play games on the computer.
I do some video editing, dvd burning, etc.
I don't need firewire right now because my camcorder is analog so I use a capture card.
I need the 5 pci slots, and want an AMD cpu.
Currently I'm using a Celeron 1ghz with 128 PC133 ram. Rather than upgrade its RAM, I'm looking to upgrade the motherboard, CPU, new faster RAM.
Thanks,
