OP uses chainsaw once a year and everyone says husky. lol. FWIW, I've cut 5-7 cords every year for the past 6 years using a poulan. Starting to get tired but if I keep the chain out of the dirt I can still get at least a cord before I have to sharpen.

Echo or Stihl IMO. Echo's small engines have always been great for me; they're my go-to brand for any outdoor product with a small engine (aside from lawn mowers, which they don't make). My father's Echo string trimmer is 20+ years old and still runs great and it gets used about once a week to take care of an acre and a half.

Stihl has a great reputation too and a lot of professionals use them as well.

OLD Homelite chainsaws were great, but they got bought out in the '90s (I think) and went downhill FAST. The 1980s and earlier Homelites were professional-grade tools, but the new ones are some of the cheapest "consumer" quality machines out there.

Of the saws the OP listed I'd go with the Echo no question.

Got a still 171. Forget the leading characters. Ms171 maybe.

Nice saw. I wish I paid a little more for a bigger engine though. Good enough for this weekend warrior though.
