Chain e-mails/silly crap that's forwarded around

you must have seen this crap before: stupid pictures of angels, puppies, flowers or whatever that have been crudely 'animated'. That is, someone has spent 3 minutes with MS Paint then produced some 2-frame animated GIF. Of course there's hundereds going around with the christmas theme right now.

Usually there's some quasi-profound message about love and friendship. These things get spread around like nobody's business. Why? Don't people deleted realise that these things are a total waste of everyone's time? It's not even as if they are funny or anything.

And the 'forward thi to ten people you love' etc. It baffles me how people haven't tired of this sh!t, even though they must receive three or four a day, each.

I've sent out enough flames to people who send me that crap that I no longer receive it.
I no longer receive 20 emails of jokes a day
I no longer receive requests to help some kid dying of cancer in Bangladesh
I no longer receive warnings to delete the teddy bear icon or whatever from my windows directory because it "is a virus"
---that flame was particularly enjoyable, since the program is an actual part of Windows and I <replied all> and it went to the individuals entire contact list - all her clients - pointing out how irresponsible it was to forward such emails, especially when they weren't true.

*sigh* come to think of it, the only emails I get anymore are friendly conversations with friends and family. Life is so much more enjoyable.

lmao, that was originally the source for the majority of emails I received. I think I've seen every joke ever told 5 times each. And, if I see one more dancing hamster...
