CH USB Controlers Problem

I upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit a couple of months ago. At the same time I installed a WD 1TB SATA II, and WD VRap 150 GB, SATA. I re-installed my USB CH Flight Sim Yoke and Pro Pedals (If you are not a flight simmer please just regard these as HID compliant devices) by simple plugging them in and booting up. They loaded and have worked perfectly ever since, retaining all calibrating and sensitivity settings – except for one thing. At times they just lose their connection. This occurs at random times and never while in use. To repair I shut down and switch USB ports and boot up again. Here is what I have done in an attempt to fix this problem:

Checked Device Manager. This shows all USB devices to be working properly.

In W7 Control Panel shows all HID-Compliant Game Controllers working properly.

The BIOS shows all USB functions [Enabled] USB 2.0 Controller [Enabled], USB 2.0 Controller Mode [HiSpeed], BIOS EHCI Hand-off [Enabled] and Legacy USB Support [Auto].

Went to Control Panel> Power Options. There I have tried all combinations of Turn off display from 15 min to Never. Put computer to sleep from 15 min to never. In the advanced I have changed USB selective suspend settings from Enabled to disabled and back. All combinations. Some times certain combinations will delay the disconnect for a couple of days but eventually it happens.

When I get the disconnect, I can swap any of the 8 ports in any manner which solves the problem but it eventually reoccurs but ONLY to the CH Controls. Every time every thing else plugged in continues to work properly.

I don’t mind stopping and reconnecting however I fear that I am wearing out the USB plugs and I will have to eventually replace the controls just because of the USB plugs.
