I've been looking a some fans online, and I was wondering; what exactly is CFM? I know it has something to do with the amount of air it moves, but how high does it have to be to provide effective cooling (i.e. for a 1.4Ghz T-Bird)?

It's an abbreviation for cubic feet per minute. For a typical Tbird 1.4GHz CPU with a 60mm fan on a good heatsink, you'd want 20cfm or more, in my way of thinking anyways.

100cfm moves the fan from the catagory of cooling device, into propulsion system:)
