I'm gonna be running a corsair 450vx PSU and a radeon 3870 with 2 case fans in push/pull. What I want to know is, how much air will the PSU and graphics card pull out of the system? If the 2 case fans are identical, will there be too much outflow compared to inflow?

Also, how much airflow is adequate for a mid-high range computer in terms of cfm? 30-40? 60-80? Thanks.

Generally the PSU fan doesn't move much air at all unless it is running warm. IDK about the vid card fan. I can recommend the Cooler Master 110 CFM fan that comes with its own controllers: http://www.svc.com/y720dcd-25t1-gp.html - it is very quiet at 7V or less and you can really crank some air if you ever need to. The only drawback is that it doesn't come with any instructions. There is approx 5V drop across either of the controller connectors, so they are wired in parallel. That means you can hook either controller that comes with it to either two-pin connector and it will work fine. If you want to use it with a pre-existing controller or direct to a mobo header, just jumper the pins with a standard, spare mobo jumper - I jumpered both pairs on mine to keep them from contacting anything else. Its load is not too much for any mobo fan header. A pair of jumpers should come with it, but for $13. for such a nice fan (sometimes less, sign up for SVCs special deals newsletter), who is quibbling... The Antec Tricool runs abut the same money. Reports are that it runs pretty quietly at low or medium and like the CM unit, you'll only use top speed for emergency cooling - comes in a selection of LED colors, if that matters to you. I have a couple of the CM fans to sell - see my listing which is linked in the footer of this message. I can beat anyone on one of these fans w/ 2 or 3-day shipping.

Looks like the card will thread the gauntlet between the memory slots and the SATA connectors.

Well, can I be sure that the card will clear the red SATA socket? I really want to be sure in case I decide to run RAID in the future. (Otherwise, I'll go with another mobo) Exactly how wide are two SATA sockets side by side?

This is kind of off topic but I can't see his newegg link due to a problem described below:

It seems one moment the link works the next it doesn't and redirects me to the search page giving me "could not find what your looking for. Heres similar products".

What's going on :S

From the looks of things it will just be shy of the red sata port and instead the card itself will be laid out between the memory dimms and sata port.
