CF mp3 players

I would really like a simple mp3 player, that is cheap with a small screen (nothing fancy) that can cope with folders and uses compact flash cards as memory.

CF cards are so cheap i would happily pay the size penalty, also my digital camera takes them so i have a bunch lying around.

cant seem to find an mp3 player that does this, however 🙁

anyone know of one?

CF is all but out of use besides in some digital cameras....I think you are probably fuxored

He's not entirely fuxored. If he's willing to make the switch to Memory Stick or xD, he may be able to find some mp3 players to suit.


EDIT: As you can see, manufacturers have a lot of incentive to move from CF to miniSD and xD.

SD is really the way to go its just more popular among the MP3 scene. And probably the second most used media in digital camera's if not the first now.

Definitely in first place now, xD second, then Sony Memory stick, then compact flash

Oh well 🙁 it seems CF is deader than i thought.

guess i'll have to bite the bullet and go for SD.

They actually look pretty good. 169 bucks for an mp3 player with included 4GB microdrive.
