Anybody else from the West Coast watch the Chinese Cinema on Channel M Saturday nights? The movie last night seemed like a typical love story, started out slow, the guy was all depressed, met a nice new woman, things got better, then it just ended HORRIBLY.
Totally different from American "romance" movies where everything is wonderful in the end, kind of shocked me. Then I wake up this morning to find it snowing outside (I'm on Vancouver Island), and apparantly everything grinds to a hault here if more than half an inch lands on the ground. I'm ready to go out and do whatever, but nobody else is?
