"certified repaired" hard drives

I had a 250GB Seagate hard drive that died for no reason after about 4 months. I sent it back and they sent me a "repaired" harddrive similair to it. the repaired dive was DOA, so we had to send it back and they sent us another certified repaired hdd. It was acting weird, and I am scanning for damaged parts of the disk, and it looks like about a gig is damaged so far and I'm only 10% done with the scanning.

Is this normal? I guess since it is "repaired" it was defective at one point already... but I guess maybe I was just expecting a better experience than this...

Sounds like you're really getting the runaround. I believe Seagate hard drives are supposed to carry a 5 year warranty. Your situation is ridiculous and I would demand a NEW hard drive or your money back.
