I have been looking to buy a 3 series BMW and wanted to know if certified pre-owned is any good. What does it mean, what type of testing do they do? Do they still usually come with warrenty? Is a certified car worth less when I will be ready to sell it as opposed to a new car? Basically what is the big advantage/disadvantage?

As to new car vs CPO, if given two cars, in similar condition and
year, they should have similar resale values regardless if its has had
two owners or one.
