I like to stream music over DLNA between my phone (HTC Thunderbolt) and my TV (Panasonic Viera ST30). It works great for 95% of my songs, however when I try to play certain tracks something goes wrong and they won't play. As a result my TV goes back to whatever input it was using previously and I get very frustrated.
I've noticed that this occurs whenever I try to play a song I've purchased from Amazon, however it is not limited to just these tracks. The vast majority of my mp3s play just fine. I should add that the problem tracks play just fine on my phone itself, just not on DLNA.
As far as I can tell there are 3 variables here: my phone, my TV, and my music. I will be getting a DLNA capable receiver next weekend so at that point I will be able to see whether or not it is the TV. I do not have any other device which can be used as the DLNA server/source. However since the vast majority of my songs work I suspect it is something about the music files which is causing the problem.
Have any of you experienced or heard of something like this? Do you have any suggestions on how I should proceed?
Thanks.
