Certain MP3s play with Itunes, but not WMP10/11?

I have an example MP3 uploaded that I will share the location with anyone that has the know-how or ability to tell what is wrong so that WMP cant play these.

I tried installing a bunch of codecs.. uninstalling WMP11, uninstalling WMP10.. cant figure out why this pack of about 100 MP3s wont play under WMP...

Post in the thread if you think you can figure this out and I'll PM you the addy of the song..

thats odd, mp3 has no copyprotection, if it plays on ituens it should play on anything. try winamp?

PM'd you a link to one of the MP3s.. it could just be my system (corrupt install of WMP or something?)

I have the same problem too. An entire album will play fine except for one song... which would work with VLC player. I'm thinking that song was probably corrupt or something.

I think its the way these MP3s were encoded.. something is different about the MP3 codec itunes uses vs what WMP uses..

if i could force WMP to use the itunes codec(s) I'd be set.. but i dont know what files, or how to do that.
