hi everyone,
i just had my bfg 6800 gt die on me so i rma'd it. unfortunately, bfg screwed up twice by sending me an agp card instead of a pci-express version. so, they decided to compensate me for my troubles. now i own a 7800 gt. i do notice it runs cooler and quieter.
i've been playing mostly unreal 2004 and battlefield 2. using the latest nvidia drivers - forceware 81.95 whql. video card temps are 45 idle and 65 load. hopefully this is normal.
okay, my problem is this. i get occasional stuttering and artifacts during gameplay especially in battlefield 2. it seems to be occurring about every 5 minutes or so. i did test my memory and processor using super pi, prime95, and memtest. all passed running the tests overnight. i believe the issue may be a video driver issue.
please recommend a solution. thanks.
