This is the America the right wing has created. They have created the gun fetishist culture and do nothing about it and in fact continue to grow it and embrace the nuttiness of it all, they have created the hate mongering and fear mongering and all their other disgusting attributes. This is a Republican created problem. They are horrific.
I can understand that with all that contempt for the right you wouldn't want to take responsibility for being just as blind to the real issues as they are.
What do you think of the losers that that make up the trigger happy right. Take how you feel about them and turn it around and imagine it coming back at you if you fail, if you were the loser like them.
What if your own fear of being a loser is the same fear they have, the one you gave them by calling them deplorable, a name you so deeply believe they richly deserve. You don't want to see that your fear is their fear, the fear of being a nobody in a system in which a person can't survive without having the money to pay for it.
You live in a country driven to survive by making money one way or another and the best way of all is via predation. All you need to do is to fan the flames of the traumatic fears people grow up with into full blown paranoia and then promise you will save them from those fears if they sign up and send money. And the result of course is that their insanity is driving all those same fears in you proving they were right to fear you in the first place.
