Certain Apple Store Discount

I remember coming across something you could buy at the Apple Store, like some $100 item relating to programming I think (sounded like MSDN to me at the time) that allows you to take a substantial, like $300 discount off your next Apple computer purchase. Anyone have any clue what I'm talking about?

Nope, it was something you bought and then made I think a one time discount availible to you. I vaguely remember it being something like MSDN.

EDIT: Thanks guys!

What's cheaper, ADC Student (after the $99 obviously) or the Student discount, if the ADC Student discount can be used multiple times then it might be a smart idea to, "pool" my resources with friends and buy multiple laptops and split the $99.

The ADC gets you free OSX upgrades for a year, so it's going to be a better deal. You can go to the ADC section of Apple.com and see prices. They are normally much better than student, unless you are referring to the very lowest of machines.

A couple of friends asked me about MacBooks (I'm like the RossMAN amongst my friends) but if I buy it'll definitely be a loaded MacBook Pro.

student discount is cheaper if your getting a service plan...i looked at it from the ADC way when buying my macbook and it turned out cheaper to just go with student discount...but, if your a programmer...ADC would be benificial
