Ceramique or AS5

Bona Fide

Banned
I've heard good and bad about both, but I'm thinking Ceramique is the way to go. In a review at SPCR, they said that AS5 only does 1-2C better than Ceramique, and it's conductive. Ceramique is nonconductive and can be applied to just about anything to reduce temperatures.

I'm thinking of applying _____ to my CPU, NB, and perhaps GPU. Which one should i use?

Im hardly a OC'ing wiz but I think AS5 is just fine. I use it for both my CPU and my GPU. You dont have to worry about it being conductive, just apply it with some common sense (ie dont use it like finger paint 🙂). Both will do the job though.

I've used them both, performance is about the same. I think Ceramique cleans up a little easier, but AS5 is supposed to be 1-2 C cooler. SVC ships free you could try both and come up with your own conclusion, I think both are about the same overall.

AS5 is good...the OCZ stuff is really good too, a little "thinner" and makes it easier to remove the CPU IMHO...but all three are good...

i have both ceramique is so much easier to work with. damn AS5 so too damn sticky but it cools slightly better
