CEOs say how you treat a waiter can predict a lot about character

I'm still reading the article, but where can I find the original article?

edit: definitely a good read and I placed an order for the book. Hope it comes through. They said upto 30 days, and I ordered it to England.

I think, this rule doesn't only apply to CEOs, but also their kids, and definitely almost anyone that you see around. I think I could say a similar thing about treating people on the internet.

Since on the internet, you are pretty much anonymous, you can make much more agressive statements, and those statements can sometimes hurt people. If you care to have some kind of expletives in your messages, especially on a public forum, and not a private chat, it shows what kind of character you have: you don't care about anybody, and only care about yourself.

I can't wait to receive this book and see what kind of things he has in it.

This post is "scary-true." I've worked for both. Life is extremely bad with a bad boss, but very good with a good boss. Few things matter as much.

You fvcking quoted the entire first post to reply with that? You should experience a vacation for that crap.

Very good article. It couldn't be more true. How you treat people on a lower payscale or worse position than you tells you a lot about them. It really just makes you think that this person is only being nice to get what they want from you.

As a former waiter of about 4 years, I take this rule to heart. Now, I've started a business and begun to make contacts with important people throughout my city, i think peoples character are just as important as the business they will bring me. Sure there's gonna be some a-holes, but in the long term relationships i want to develop, it will only be with people treat others with fairness..
