Centurion 534 + 120mm front fan

Putting together my new comp, and it seems just about impossible to squeeze a 120mm fan in the front slot. Searching around on the forums seemed to confirm this. Is this in fact impossible to do without using any power tools? 🙁

I think it actually will fit a 120mm fan. The only reason it has such a small area that has holes is that the USB + audio IO headers are there. The mounting holes are there for a 120mm the last time I removed the front bezel.

The mounting holes are there all right, but there doesn't seem to be enough room between the HD cage and the front/bottom of the case to insert a 120mm fan, and even a 92mm would take considerable force to push in. I'm not sure if there's some sort of trick to get the HD cage out of the way (seems pretty massively connected to all the surrounding parts), or if the guys at CM just didn't catch this design issue.

You can actually remove the hard drive cage by unscrewing two screws at the bottom of the case and two other screws that are on the motherboard tray.

Indeed you can! I noticed the two screws on the bottom before, but the other two were hiding under a bunch of cables. I would have never spotted them on my own, thanks a bunch! <3
