Centurion 5 vs. Slk3000b

If given the choice between a Coolermaster Centurion 5 and an Antec SLK3000B, which would you go with? I personally think the Centurion looks better, but its 80mm intake fan is less attractive than the Antecs 120mm fan. Would there be a signifigant difference in noise? Has anyone been able to disable the 80mm Centurion fan, or perhaps even replace it with a larger one? As I understand it, the front of the Coolermaster is mesh, so turning that fan off may not present a signifigant cooling problem.

SLK3000 no question is better... the C5 is a low end coolermaster, and quite frankly (IMO) not really a true Coolermaster product. it's just a cheap case that looks alright.

I don't hate the case, it's just not that great.. the SLK3000 is a very very good functional case.

If you live in the continental United States and are thinking about an SLK3000-B, Amazon.com has free shipping off and on: link

The 120mm that they equip it with is pretty quiet on Low speed. Some people would call it "silent," depending on what that means to them.

I can hear the stock fan on medium over the rest of my case but on low, it would be a toss up really.

Wouldnt call it silent but it is most definately quiet.

I replaced the rear stock fan with the medium speed Panaflo and Zalman Fanmate 2. I use the Abit AX8 to control the input fan voltage from 8 to 12VDC, depending on case temp.

i got a centurion 5.. i have two 80mm front.. and one 80mm side and one 120mm back... air flow is excellent... and it looks about 500 times better too... =P
just some pics... http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.aspx?catid=37&threadid=1589846
if u get the one w/out the windows... u can actually add one 80mm and another 90mm on the side panel.... the 90mm wasn't meant to be for fan mounting but they actually made ventilation holes and it fits a 90mm fan...
