Hot dog, hot deal...just bought two. It seems that the trick is to buy the unit and then run it for an hour or two. Reading reviews from CC shows that a significant number fail almost immediately. I suspect that it'll fail immediately, or last forever--probably the switch since heating elements are quite simple. Not hot if it has to be shipped.

holy crap that's cheap...I just spent like $70+ on a used Vornado intellitemp on ebay...which showed up pretty damned dusty, so I had to disassemble and clean the damned thing out (which took a good amount of time). I do love the heater though.

what was my point...umm...oh right this is hella cheap!

I bought two yesterday and ran one this morning. It seems to run fine, the fan noise is fairly low, and I was actually surprised to see that it has two heat ranges, and a thermostat. The thermostat held my small bathroom I was heating at just the right temp, turning off and on as necessary. Thumbs Up! Thanks.
