Ganked from the CPU/OC forum ... Here it is!

Condensed specs:

479-pin PGA ZIF socket for Intel® Pentium M processors at 400MHz FSB
Intel® 855 chipset
Up to 2GB ECC DDR SDRAM
Intel® Extreme Graphics 2
On-board LVDS flat panel support and analog VGA
Dual independent displays
AGP/ADD slot for other display interfaces
Single 10/100 Ethernet port
AC97 audio
3 PCI slots
System management and fan control
Power management
Watchdog timer
Phoenix FirstBIOS? Notebook Pro
6 USB 2.0 ports
2 serial ports (rear I/O & header)
Parallel port
PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports (also via internal headers)
13 GPIO lines (supports an LCD character display)
9.6" x 9.6" microATX

And here's the kicker ...

MSRP - $353
Add to that the fact that a P-M 1.3 is around $220, and that's one pricey box. Add an Intel Wireless card, and it would technically be a Centrino machine though - and you can easily passive-cool it. :Q

Right, right ... stupid Intel regulations. :p

This, a P-M, and an Intel Wireless card, and it's a Centrino. :D

That would actually be cool if someone would build a totally silent, relativly mid-range Wintel box based on a Pentium-M.

Plus I just love that the 686 is still alive and kicking (and even one of Intel's most expensive CPUs) 8 years after its introduction.

Let's see, it could use a fast Pentium M, a Seagate Barracuda V, and some kind of GPU that can be either cooled without a fan, or if that's to low end, just use a top of the line GPU but cool it really efficently. That could be a cool, unique product.

The board is a 855 ;)

Too much money for this board for what you get IMO.

Yeah, I called up their number to ask for pricing. If I can find four other folk wanting Centrino desktops, we hit the $325 price break. :p

It has pci slots. Get a pci to mini-pci adapter (they exist) and put in an Intel mini pci wifi card.
