Centrifugal Force

Can someone please post the link that says it does not exist?

I don't mean to bring up a whole repost of it all but I was telling someone about the theory that it is not true and i cannot find the link.

Thanks.

It's not a theory that it doesn't exist. It factually doesn't exist. What is normall called "certrifugal force" is simply a specific manifestation of inertial force.

Wrong. Centripital force exists. Centrifugal force is simply a manifestation of inertial force and is not a force in its own right.

No, you've got it backwards. Centripetal force exists as the force which is keeping an object moving in circular motion, rather than linear motion. Centrifugal force doesn't exist because it's viewed as a force that pushes the object away from the center of the curve. In reality, objects go away from the center of the circular motion due to their own momentum, having the tendency to not have any change of direction.

Centrifugal force is also sometimes called a psuedo-force. It basically comes about as a result of choosing an accelerating or rotating reference frame, but is indeed not a real force.

Pretty much, but is inertia a force?
