i read the article on overclockers.com where the guy bought a centrifugal fan from graingers and used it for cooling. I really like this idea not only cause its effective but it seems to be more quiet... one thing i was thinking of though, was i have a q500 full tower, and there is probably enough space between my psu and the top of the tower to fit this huge fan... then if it fits ill duct the air through the hole for cables and directly onto my cpu heatsink. Does this sound like it would work out alright? the thing i wouldnt know how to do is feed this fan.. he said use some LM-388k regulator but i cannt find this for purchase anywhere- could anyone point me in the right direction or maybe try to explain how to feed this 12v fan with maybe 6-8 volts? thanks!
