My wifes boss who pays me from time to time to take care of the network PC's for her wants something I am not sure how to do. She wants a centralised outlook calendar that everyone can access. Its a law firm and it is increasing with more attorneys so they need a centralised calendar so they can quickly find out which and when a conference room is available and such. Is this something that you need Exchange for? Or is there a way I can setup outlook with a generic account on the file server and have people access it over the network? Any ideas solutions to do this with outlook or any other alternative way to do it would be appreciated. It needs to be able to schedule in 15 minute blocks as well.

this is an area where MS makes big $ , you have to pay for exchange and the cal's to do this

or else go with an open sorzes alternative, there are just a few choices in this arena, and most business types that are used to outlook don't want to change, so they end up paying the thousands for exchange
