Anyone here expert or had one put in ? whats the cost of it ? duct work and all that stuff.. Just curious about how much work is involve..

I seen some people with crap blowing out of the ducts.. is that just poor cleaning ?
 
i had unit installed for under 3k......duct work was already there cuz i have forced air heat. so....cost of labor and duct work depending on how big your house is...my house is small so i didnt need a big unit. As for crap blowing out of ducts, thinkin they didnt have any filters on their returns.

Or their filter is dirty. We change ours every year. It gets pretty full of crap in one season of use.
 
I just got a couple quotes, I also already have ductwork and a 15 year old furnace. Low end so far was just shy of $2k for a 2 ton unit.
 
On existing house, where do they put the duct work ?

How big are duct works anyway ? like a square of 10x10 inches or something ? i never seen one and the google pics are too small.. lol..

so I I dont have an attic, it be pretty hard ?
