"Center" of a toosie pop...

What would one define as the "center" of the tootsie pop? I counted one time 1336 licks to the center and I'm doing it agian but as I've been licking, I've been thinking as to, what is the center of a tootsie pop?
Thinking of it more, does seeing the brown count? Does tasting the brown count? Does it have to be exposed enough to chew it? Does it have to be the "true" center?
