Censorship of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" Christmas special?

I was just watching "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" (the old stop motion with Burgermeister Miesterburger, the Winter Warlock, etc.) and in the song "The First Toymaker to the King", they cut out the line "And the kangaroos must learn to hop
Into the prince's hand" from the song?!?

Any idea what that could be about? Is that some coded reference I don't get?
