cendyne (verbatim) firmware. please help

i bought the cendyne 32x12x40 cdrw that was posted in the hot deals section from staples. this is in a cendyne box, it is badged as a verbatim. can i flash this to see this as a lite on drive or maybe even overclock it? can someone please help me out with this one

hmmm i was in the same position you were a few months ago with my sony 12x dvd
i changed the firmware, and i got it running faster as a lite on drive.. anyways...
i had to do something to crack it first.. and then flash it to make it region free
and then when i did that, it was recognized with a higher firmware and as a lite on drive
anyways...

it was this site that helped me.. but i dont know anything about that drive
so check out the site.. it might help. who knows.
