Cemetary Man...the movie...is there some sort of hidden meaning?

If anyone has seen this and can give some insight as far as a meaning to it, please feel free to post. I've heard there's some sort of hidden underlying meaning to it, and I have some sort of guess, but I'd love to hear the opinions of others that have seen it and might have a clue.

Thats an idea. I almost have the feeling that its about destroying a relationship, and every girl after the girl he messed up with is the same girl to him...and he destroys things again and again. Its the very last scene, where he seems to swap roles with the retarded guy in the last line of the movie that trips me out....makes me think. I've watched it 3 times now since I bought it.
