I have a gigabyte ga6vxe7+ with auto voltage. Can only get my 600 to 900. Do you think if I had a different board to up the voltage I could squeeze a little more out ?
Your best bet, if you have an FCPGA CPU, is to get an FCPGA to Slot 1 adapter. You can then control the FSB (66, 100, 133) and the voltage on the adapter and use any Slot 1 motherboard you please.
I had a asus p3bf or something like that before that needed a slot adapter and could never get it to overclock. Got a s370 board pop it in a go. Thanks for the advice.
