Cellular signal booster for a building

Does anyone have any experience installing a cellular booster for a building which is ~1000sqft. I would primarily want the booster to help boost the signal of a wireless broadband card. How much should I be looking to spend for this booster and installation?

We had one installed by Sprint. I believe it was a couple thousand bucks.

I remember seeing something like this at Fry's a while back. IIRC, it was around $350.
