Cellphone water damage

Well I'm just a moron. I left my cell phone (Motorola V551) in my pants pocket when I put it in the laundry. Stupid cargo pockets. Anyway, I remember about 2 minutes later and took it out, took out the battery and dried it. To my surprise it worked this morning. The only problem is now that there is water trapped inside the screen (between the LCD and the protector). There is also water stuck in the screen in the back. It will evaporate if I hold a blow drier up to it, but just comes back as soon as it cools down (there's no where for the vapor to escape?). Anyway, I don't know if its stuck there for good, if it will just go away, or if there is some way to get it out. Does anyone have any ideas or experience with it.

In short:
Motorola V551 went into the wash
It works but there's water stuck behind the screen.

you may just have to find a way to take the lcd out from behind that protective screen...other than that i really don't know what to tell you
