My friend currently has a Nextel contract and his parents just got a RAZR with Cingular. Can he swap the numbers so that his number will be for the CIngular RAZR phone/contract and his parents will now be on the Nextel phone/contract? Will there be any penalties?
 
You should have told them you wanted the number ported when you first signed up for the new phone. They should still be able to do it for you though.

His parents got the phone and now my friends wants it and his parents dont really care. I guess they should have mentioned something to him but this is the way it is.
